Mara Bush - Founder and Creative Director

Mara is a filmmaker with a passion for storytelling. Her love of film started young, making homemade videos with a VHS camera. In high school, Mara eagerly signed up for her school's first ever video production class and quickly knew that filmmaking was more than just an extra-curricular. She brought that passion with her to Adelphi University where she studied film. Though Mara loved directing and writing in college, she started working on indie film sets as script supervisor, assistant director, and producer to gain on-set experience. "A Thousand Words" is Mara's professional directorial debut. She's now looking forward to her next project which is currently in preproduction.
